The next 8 days for me are dedicated to fixing as many reported bugs as possible, so I can ensure the full launch on November 18 is as smooth as possible. When the game launches on November 18, you will not see any new inclusions other than Localization. Full Release is on November 18, and this Public Beta is here to give you the content early, and also spend time focusing on bug fixes from here on until the launch. To be able to finally declare the game is finished is an unbelievable feeling. This is an achievement I never thought I would ever reach when I started this journey in September 2019. The Public Beta is a symbol of an almost complete game.

This update introduces most of the promised Major Features from the roadmap, plus a lot of other goodies to go with it. Welcome to the absolutely massive Public Beta 1.0 update for Melvor Idle! Protect prayers would mitigate 75% of damage so food would still be required on higher areas.Due to Steam’s character limit on announcements, I have had to remove details of some changes to fit everything in. Having monk's robes with a total prayer bonus of 20, and using say Protect from Melee could help combat training at the cost of defense. And giving equipment prayer bonus to decrease prayer point drain, would function as it does also.
Do you train Herblore or do you bury the bones to train Prayer? Prayer would have similar effects to potions, except prayer boosts lasts as long as you have prayer points left, similar to how they work in Runescape. Prayer could also be another skills added which could tie in to Herblore as well, using ground up bones from NPCs. Various other potions could be made, such as Potion of Strength, which would be equipped much like food and increase Melee str by a set amount of time (since attack time is in seconds, this same system could be used for potions). It wouldn't double the double effect, it would increase the likelihood of the double effect happening.
Growing herbs to turn into potions would be a great way to add extra effects or add stacking effects, such as Potion of Double Logs would add a stacking effect with how Mastery works.
Herblore for one would tie in with Farming. Adding Prayer and Herblore would help add new ways to train various skills.
